How Do I Retrieve My License Key and Activate My Plugin?
  1. To see your license keys:
    • Log in here.
    • Visit My Account and click View Details and Downloads.
    • Copy license key and download correct installer for your OS.
  2. To Activate:
    • Run the installer.
    • Open the plugin in your DAW.
    • Paste license key and click Activate.
How do I create an account on the site?
To create an account, click here. Complete the registration form, and you’ll receive a verification email to activate your account.
Why do I need to verify my account to access certain features?
Account verification helps us ensure that you, as a valued user, have secure access to exclusive features like free trials, lifetime licenses, and personalized support.

How do I reset my password if I forgot it?
If you forget your password, click here. Follow the prompts, and you’ll receive an email with instructions to reset your password.
Can I update my account information?
At this time, you cannot directly update account details like your email or user name. However, you can log in to view your licenses, product receipts, license keys, manage activations, or upgrade licenses.
Will I receive an email confirmation after making a purchase?
We’re currently improving our email system, so email confirmations are not available yet. Don’t worry—your download and license information can be easily found in your account.
Can I share my product license with others?
Licenses are for individual use only and cannot be shared. Sharing license keys may result in account suspension.
How do I report an issue with a product?

Where can I view my past orders?
Log into your account and navigate to your account page to view details of your past orders, including products and licenses purchased.
Which platforms are Raccoon Audio plugins compatible with?

macOS: Compatible with macOS High Sierra and newer (Universal build for Intel and Apple Silicon).

Windows: Compatible with Windows 7 and above.

DAWs: Requires a DAW that supports VST3 or AUv2 plugin formats.

Where does the installer place the plugin files?

For macOS:

  • AUv2 Plugin Location: HardDrive:/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/OctoWah Stew.component
  • VST3 Plugin Location: HardDrive:/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3/OctoWah Stew.vst3

For Windows:

  • VST3 Plugin Location: HardDrive:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\OctoWah Stew.vst3
Why isn’t my plugin showing up in my DAW?
  1. Confirm the plugin was installed in the correct location (see above).
  2. Use your DAW’s “Rescan Plugins” option to detect new plugins.
  3. Restart your DAW. Some DAWs may require up to three restarts for the plugin to register.
Do I need an internet connection to activate the plugin?
Yes, a stable internet connection is required for license verification during activation.
